A big thanks to Christa Wolf at The Ink Shop for help with this color etching. I had a wonderful time over there on Tuesdays last month. This print was made with two plates: the first (above) is a soft-ground plate scuffed through a contact print from the second, hard-ground, line plate. Below you can see both plates together. I printed these at the same time. I inked both plates, ran the first one through, and keeping one edge of the paper pinched in the press I swapped in the second plate and ran the second. I’d love to do more soon. It’s called Powderfinger.
